As you probably have figured out already, my name is Chathura -- also known as Chat to some of my American friends who find Chathura to be hard to pronounce.

Hailing from the beautiful country, Sri Lanka, I have had my higher studies primarily in the United States. Soon after completing my undergraduate studies, however, I was back in Sri Lanka and worked for a few years prior to embarking on another experience that is the Master of Business Administration at Vanderbilt University.

The year of 2005 has been a rollercoaster ride to say the least. The 4th of July, 2005 marked another chapter of my life, as my longtime girlfirend became "my bride, my wife, my joy."

However, barely a month passed before I had to move to Nashville to enroll at Vanderbilt. Kumdika could not join immediatley as she has to wrap up her education in Sri Lanka. She is expected to join me in December -- and until then, I am left to rejoice the joys of bachelorship once again while reflecting on the benefits of being married.
